Sunn O)))

Yea, Sunn definitely needs no further introduction. If you're pretentious and hipster enough; this band is the shit. I'm posting their early stuff up 'til Black One, since I haven't heard their later efforts yet. Enjoy.

La Monte Young and the Theatre of Eternal Music

La monte young is truly an underrated musician, and is oftenly not mentioned much at all today in drone circles.
The music revolves a lot around droning synths and the occasional ambient tune.

The band was also known as The Dream Syndicate, so don't get confused if you search for any of the album titles and get that as a result.

Definetly something to check out if you're curios about early drone.

Will make another post containing the rest of their dischography when I get my hands on it.

1st post: intro, Jackie-O Motherfucker

So, yes. Welcome to the Kool aid acid test blog.

Here I'll be posting a wide array of muscal embargos that reach my eardrums...
...
...
So let's get this going!

First out is the musical collective Jackie-O Motherfucker from Oregon.

They are widely renowned for switching members every month or so, and thus produce extremely diffrent music on all of their album's.

The music is hard to describe, but I'd say that they play some kind of droneish folk rock.
Anyway, you be the judge.
